Tom van Dijk

Tom van Dijk is specialised in providing advice and litigating in the field of civil real estate law. His emphasis lies on contract law, mainly area development, building and renovation projects, and buying/selling and renting real estate.

 

Tom is an expert in the area of construction law and landlord-tenant law (VHA programme 2007) author of the book ‘Electronic Tendering’ [original title: ‘Elektronische aanbesteding’].

 

His clients include developers, governments, education and healthcare organisations, construction companies, investors and private individuals. Tom has been practising law since 2001 and worked at the Dutch State Advocate’s office for over 11 years. He is highly motivated and results-orientated, with a strong focus on quality and problem-solving.

 

Register of legal practice areas

Tom van Dijk has registered the following principal (and secondary) legal practice areas in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister):

  • Procurement law
  • Construction law
  • Tenancy law

 

Based on this registration, he is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
